| Active Ingredient |
Chlorfenapyr 24% SC
|
| Chemical Group |
Aryl Pyrrole
|
| Product Characteristics |
- Insecticide and acaricide with primary stomach action and limited contact activity.
- Belongs to the arylpyrrole group.
- Translaminar movement within plant tissues with limited systemic activity.
- Effective against many insect and mite species, including strains resistant to carbamates, organophosphates, pyrethroids, and insect growth regulators.
|
| Mode of Action |
Chlorfenapyr inhibits oxidative processes in the pest through its active N-ethoxymethyl group.
It acts as an uncoupler of oxidative phosphorylation in mitochondria, disrupting ATP production (cellular energy).
This prevents energy conversion inside the pest’s body, leading to cellular death.
