|
| Active Ingredient |
Mineral Oil 97% EC (970 g / Liter)
|
| Product Characteristics |
- Applied safely on citrus, mango, and field crops.
- Controls scale insects, mealy bugs, leaf miners, and mites.
- Acts through oxygen starvation of target insects.
- Suitable for use in Integrated Pest Management (IPM) programs.
- Plays a synergistic role when mixed with insecticides, increasing efficacy of other products.
|
| Mode of Action |
Works by forming a thin oil film over the insect body, leading to oxygen deprivation and suffocation of the target pest.
|
| Directions of Use |
- Irrigate orchards before application with a short interval.
- Use high-pressure sprayers (not less than 300 PSI) with continuous agitation.
- Ensure complete coverage of the entire foliage.
- Avoid application during high temperature, strong winds, or rainfall.
- Avoid spraying during blossom or early fruit set before fruits reach lemon size.
- For citrus before July, reduce rate to 250 ml / 100 L water to avoid phytotoxicity due to oil gland sensitivity.
